Covid Mass Testing Drive at Kewzing and Hingdam

Namchi, 5th June: As per State Governments COVID-19 guidelines, Mass Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) was carried out at Kewzing and Hingdam for shopkeepers, vegetable vendors and attached labour of Kewzing Bazaar and Hingdam’s NHPC Colony Market, today. Out of a total of 124 samples taken, 1 was found positive.

The break-up is as under:

1. Kewzing Bazaar: Total tested-84; Positive case- Nil; an
2. NHPC Colony Market, Hingdam: Total tested- 40; Positive case- 01.

Similarly, Mass Testing Drive was also carried out at Ravangla Bazaar yesterday wherein a total of 308 people were tested out of which 9 people were detected positive. The health team has provided support to the positive patients.
