PV Sindhu wins her opening match at Tokyo Olympic.

Sindhu defeated Ksenia Polikarpova 21-7 and 21-10 in just 28 minutes.

The Rio Olympic Games-2016 silver medalist won her first game of the match in Tokyo 2020 in just 13 minutes with a score of 21-7.

She then went on to win the second set and the match 21-10.The 26-year-old brought out her A-game in the first game and she gave no chance to her opponent to take a breather and create any momentum. Sindhu wrapped up the first game, and she was looking set to win the match in straight games.

World Number 58 Polikarpova seemed to struggle throughout the match with an injury.
