India Won Seven Medals at asian Archery Championship.

The 2021 Asian Archery Championships were the 22nd edition of the Asian Archery Championships, and was held in Bangladesh Army Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh from 14th of November 2021, to 19th of November , 2021.
Jyothi Surekha Vennam, World Championship triple silver medallist overcame the mighty Korean challenge twice, including in a gripping but controversial final, to win the women’s compound individual gold at the Asian Archery Championships on Thursday.Jyothi defeated 2015 world champion Kim Yunhee 148-143 in a semifinal, before claiming India’s first gold against Oh Yoohyun with a one-point win (146-145). Jyothi Surekha Vennam wins the only Gold Medal for India.
Abhishek Verma, won the silver medal at men’s individual final in Asian Archery Championship 2021.
This is Abhishek’s second Asian championship, as he earlier won Bronze in the men’s team event.
Indian champions ended in total with 7 medals for country. As the recurve women’s and men’s teams settled for silver on Friday. Both the men’s and women’s teams lost their respective finals to the Koreans.
In the bronze-medal match, the mixed recurve team of Ankita Bhakat and Kapil clinched bronze after a 6-0 win against Uzbekistan.
