A 39-year-old man was detained by Pakyong police on allegations of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in a shocking event that occurred in Bengthang Pacheykhani in the Pakyong district. The accused, a small contractor from the same hamlet as the victim, allegedly committed these crimes on November 25 and 26.

According to the filed FIR, the young victim’s stepmother alleged that the accused took advantage of the girl being home alone and subjected her to continuous sexual abuse over the course of two days.

The accused, who shared the same village as the victim, reportedly used cash to lure the young girl and issued threats to prevent her from disclosing the abuse to anyone. The stepmother bravely stepped forward and lodged a written complaint, prompting law enforcement to take action.

A case has been registered against the under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

A young inspiring, politician Basant Sharma Chairman of Youth Development Board Sikkim despite of his health issues have been actively working as the Active member and also the major body of the Present Government to make state with the better version of education and also the state as education hub.

Fourteen people had died on the spot while one succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan.

The accident happened at Saatghumti of Pulung in Madi Municipality, according to police. The bus, which was en route to Damak in the Jhapa district, lost control and fell 300 metres off the road.

The Nepal Army rescued five passengers alive from the crash site and airlifted them to Dharan for medical treatment.
