Congratulation Champion Tarundeep Rai for receiving one of the highest civilian honours of India Padma Shri Award.

President Ram Nath Kovind presented the Padma Awards in the Rashtrapati Bhawan.This year, 119 Padma Awards has been presented by the President including Shri Tarundeep Rai Recurve Archer from Sikkim, Ms Kangana Ranaut 3time National Film Award winning,Dr Yogi Arron plastic Surgeon treating burn and bite victims for free in Himalayas for 3 decades,Kumari PV Sindhu badminton player.

The list comprises 7 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan and 102 Padma Shri Awards. 29 of the awardees are women, 16 Posthumous awardees and 1 transgender awardee.
