India Olympic Update,India’s Archer Deepika Kumari won against Karma of Bhutan in the round of 32 and qualified for the last 16 in women’s individual Archery event.

Earlier India’s Pravin Jadhav lost against Brady Ellison of USA 0-6 in the last 16 and was knocked out of my own individual Archery event.
Archer tarundeep Rai also disappointed when he was knocked out by Itay Shanny of Israel 6-5 in the men’s individual round of 16.India’s medal hopeful and 2016 Rio silver medalist PV Sindhu won 2-0 against Cheung Ngan Yi of Hong Kong in a group J badminton match to qualify for women’s singles round of 16.
In hockey the Indian women’s team went down 1-4 against Great Britain in a pool A match. Indian rowers Arjun Lal jat and Arvind Singh failed to qualify for the men’s lightweight double sculls final at the Tokyo Olympic after finishing sixth and last in the second semi final. The Indian sailing pair of Varun Thakkarr-KC Ganpati was ranked 18 after 4 races. India will also have boxer Pooja Rani competing today
