YOUTHS SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN POLITICS WITH BETTER VISION AND IDEAS – BASANT SHARMA
A young inspiring, politician Basant Sharma Chairman of Youth Development Board Sikkim despite of his health issues have been actively working as the Active member and also the major body of the Present Government to make state with the better version of education and also the state as education hub.
Mahindra Sewa, editor of Fastest fast Sikkim had a long conversation with Chairman where in they discussed about political opinions, Sikkim health sector and mostly youths and the education sector.
Following the discussion Mahindra Sewa raised few questions where he calmly gave a very satisfying answer.
Firstly, he asked whether the youths should enthusiastically participate in politics or not ? If yes then what kind of way should youths choose to work as a political workers? He very nicely answered, political parties of Sikkim needs more youths to run the parties and the government so that the state would experience better future and the agendas. State would no longer have to suffer from the agendas which would benifit youths and make a better future for them in their state .
He also said our youths should participate in politics for not only their self fulfilment and profits but for the society and urges them to come up with better ideas for the state and the youths. He also added, “Youths for the youths.”
As being the Chairman of Sikkim Youth Development Board he thinks that in the time span of 3 years of Sikkim government, under the dynamic leadership of HCM PS Tamang there’re ample of major changes done which every individual can witness by their naked eyes.
Health and education sectors are mostly being and in progress.
Further he also also said ” I myself being a youth have thought and visualised the major changes and development in health and education sector and as it is said the show must go on , this progress must go on.
Lastly he thanked HCM for the upgradation of Gelling Senior Secondary school ( Gelling – village where he belongs to) as Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar senior secondary school. From now the village students will be benefited with various kinds of scholarships and facilities, and also hoping for the betterment of respected school and students.
He also thanked all the Sikkimese people for supporting him in his political journey. He also requests to remember him in prayers so that he could work for the society and youths energetically and more fruitfully.
